This is a specialized program designed to shake up the metabolism, kick up the level of weight loss and get you back on the track to losing weight and inches.
Every dieter experiences a plateau while dieting. Diet plateaus can last as long as two weeks .The goal of the Plateau Breaker is to introduce a new program designed to get you back to losing again.
Use the Plateau Breaker for a minimum of 4 days or until the body starts to lose weight again.
Drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water per day. Water intake should occur throughout the entire day. Adequate hydration is essential to the weight loss process
Take 4-6 EFA’s per day to insure adequate intake of essential fatty acids. Please continue to take the multi-vitamins associated with your diet plan.
PATIENTS MUST CONSUME 4 HEALTHWISE PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS OF CHOICE. FOR BEST RESULTS SUPPLEMENTS SHOULD BE CONSUMED ONE HOUR BEFORE MEALS. THE OPTIONAL FOURTH SUPPLEMENT MAY BE CONSUMED IN THE EVENING OR WHEN EVER YOU ARE HUNGRY. WHILE ON THIS PROGRAM, YOU MAY SKIP MEALS BUT DO NOT SKIP ANY OF THE THREE REQUIRED SUPPLEMENTS. FOR THE PLATEAU BREAKER ONLY, NO PROTEIN BARS ARE PERMITTED
The following foods are allowed on the The Plateau Breaker
UNLIMITED Lean cuts of beef, chicken, turkey (without skin) all fish, seafood and shellfish are allowed. Meats may be baked, broiled, steamed or grilled but may not be fried. Prepared meats (hotdogs and lunchmeat and sausage) are not permitted. Avoid fatty meat cuts… You may have two eggs or one cup of egg substitutes as a meat serving with any one meal per day. Meat servings should be limited to 8-10 oz, per meal. Vegetarians may substitute tofu, soy cheese or soy burgers.
UNLIMITED Green vegetables including the following: lettuce (all types),cucumbers, broccoli, celery, zucchini, spinach, green beans, green onions, kale, turnip greens, collard greens and green peppers. No peas or lima beans. Vegetables must raw or steamed no canned or fried vegetables. Healthwise Salad dressing (one package per serving) or cider vinegar is permitted.
BEVERAGES While on the Plateau Breaker, dieters may have 3 cups of decaffeinated tea or coffee per day, (Servings may be hot or iced) these beverages are not to count as part of daily water consumption.
ELIMINATE ALL FRUITS, STARCHES INCLUDING BREAD AND CEREALS, ANY UNLISTED VEGETABLES, ALL DAIRY PRODUCTS, ALL FATS INCLUDING REGULAR SALAD DRESSINGS, BUTTER, MARGERINE AND BUTTER SUBSTITUTES, AND ALL SEASONINGS CONTAINING SODIUM AND SUGARS.
Eat until you are satisfied and then stop eating. If you are hungry, enjoy the optional fourth supplement. Visit the clinic after two full days on the program to monitor your progress
